U2 在這次的蘋果發表會決定在 iTunes 上開放下載新專輯 Song of Innocence，然後這會提供給將近上千萬客戶。不過這也讓許多人覺得自己的 iTunes 上多了 “U2″ 這個演奏者非常奇怪。這也讓 ” Who is U2 ?” 變成了昨日 Twitter 的熱門話題。
誰是 U2 ? 一個在 1976 年成立的樂團，2005 年拿下葛萊美八項大獎，被愛爾蘭視為國寶，同時被 Rolling 評為 80 年代最棒的樂團，同時主唱 Bono 也是人權鬥士，熱中於參與各種人權活動。不過現在有很多人在 Twitter 上大聲的提問: 誰是 U2 ?
這個問題也曾經對 Arcade fire ， Bon Iver 以及 Daft Punk 問過，但是對一個曾經銷售過超過一千五百萬張專輯以及得過 22 座葛萊美獎的搖滾樂團這個問題似乎有點諷刺，或許 Gene Simmons 說的對。
