據英國BBC報導，英國著名的視覺藝術家Storm Thorgerson不敵癌症病魔於4月18日中午過世，享年69歲。
Storm Thorgerson與Pink Floyd合作超過十年。其中最著名的作品包括經典專輯’The Dark Side Of The Moon’封面(Storm Thorgerson設計，由George Hardie繪製)、’Wish You Were Here’等專輯封面。
同時他也替Led Zeppelin、 Black Sabbath、Scorpions、Genesis、Europe、Dream Theater、The Cranberries、The Mars Volta、Muse和Biffy Clyro等樂團設計專輯封面。並曾經是英國藝術設計團體Hipgnosis中的成員。(該團體專門幫搖滾樂團和歌手設計專輯封面和視覺設計。)
