戰地兒童慈善團體War Child透漏將發行最新合輯慶祝組織成立20周年的紀念專輯。這名為’The Best Of War Child’的合輯彙收錄了過去二十年來為War Child慈善專輯錄製過的曲目。
在慶祝War Child成立20周年之際，War Child更獲得了2013年全英音樂獎的終身成就獎。今年War Child慈善演唱會則邀請到英搖大團Muse，他們將跟隨Coldplay, The Killers, Blur還有Kasabian的足跡，於英國時間2/18晚上9點30分在倫敦O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire演出，也會在Youtube頻道上同步轉播。
War Child的音樂總監Ben Knowles說道：「這是英國音樂史上最令人振奮的故事，早在1994和1995期間，War Child合輯就獲得了來自各方種種讓人驚喜的支持。」
將於2/18號發行的’The Best Of War Child’合輯，收錄單曲包括Radiohead, Paul McCartney, David Bowie和Coldplay等知名樂手單曲。而即將擔綱演出的Muse，現場版本單曲’Time Is Running Out’已經可以在War Child網站上免費下載。
