永遠佔據所有搖滾樂史相關典籍的”華麗章節”首頁,已經40年的”KISS”出新專輯了.’Monster’,這是”KISS”樂團的第20張專輯.(10/20)本周首度入榜告示牌專輯排行就名列第三.這是”KISS”樂團的第九張TOP 10 專輯.這樣的成績, 說明了Kiss依然是擁有搖滾樂迷全力相挺的.而 ‘Monster’,這樣的標題,當然也是清楚傳達了KISS樂團捲土重來的自信.樂評界又給了什麼評語呢?..
“FOX NEWS”大力吹捧說:”Kiss’ 20th studio album ‘Monster’ is scary good”…(可怕地”好”)
BMA雜誌說:It’s a massive, gargantuan, stadium-destroying colossus of a record,and it’s bloody magnificent(這張專輯充滿巨大吸磁力與壯觀地毀滅能量),
Rock Cellar 雜誌卻說:” Monster is like most KISS albums – it’s about nothing, and that’s just how it should always be.”(沒什麼可說–就跟以前的KISS一樣,乏善可陳).
Sputnik Music毫不修飾地批評是:”Part-time band and full-time business”(半吊子的樂團,百分百的生意經)
至於,目前正在跟Motley Crue, Bon Jovi 及 AC/DC, 一起巡演,Kiss樂團的貝司手Gene Simmons則說:’We’re not doing thrash. We’re not doing any of that stuff. It’s straight meat and potatoes. No messing around. And no ballads, no string choirs, no little boys doing a cappella, no eunuchs singing background.” (我們是不搞什麼花招的,沒有什麼古典重奏,小男孩清唱班合音之類…這是扎扎實實,有血有肉的)
