今年8月Justin Vernon與他的樂團Bon Iver宣布一項名為 Bon Iver, Bon Iver: Stems Project的競賽活動，歌迷可以從Indaba音樂網站http://www.indabamusic.com/下載Bon Iver的第2張專輯‘ Bon Iver, Bon Iver’的歌曲，並混音後上傳到網站上參與投票，最後優勝名單由Justin Vernon並可獲得1000美金。今日公佈了得獎名單，外加6首Bon Iver樂團和他們的朋友完成的混音作品。
Bon Iver是在2007年成立的美國民謠獨立樂團，由主唱Justin Vernon主導，今年靠著第二張專輯’ Bon Iver, Bon Iver’一舉奪下葛來美獎最佳另類專輯及最佳新人兩項大獎，Bon Iver團名取自法文‘Bon hiver’，意思是美麗的冬天，這次獨特的競賽活動吸引了非常多網友參加，也成功造成話題並達到宣傳效果。
